Small by design. Enrollment, step by step.
We never have more than twelve children — no more than four of them infants — so spaces open a few at a time. Everything begins with a visit, because you should never choose childcare from a website alone.
Visit us
Every enrollment starts with a tour of the facility — the classroom spaces, the kitchen, the nap room, and the outdoor play area — with every question answered along the way, including tuition, current openings, and start dates.
Complete the enrollment packet
Our enrollment agreement, plus the forms California requires for every licensed program — identification and emergency information, consent for emergency medical treatment, a parents’-rights acknowledgment — and your child’s immunization record. California law requires age-appropriate immunizations for all children in licensed care.
Reserve your start date
A registration fee holds your child’s space — details at your visit. First days are planned gently, with extra transition support for children — and parents — who need a softer landing.

Common questions
Questions families ask
Does my child need to be potty trained?
No. Toileting is a learning process like any other, and we honor each child’s pace. When your family starts potty learning, we support whatever approach you’re using at home.
What ages do you take?
Six months through five years. Because the group is mixed-age and small, siblings share their days here — many families stay with us from infancy until kindergarten.
What about food and allergies?
Breakfast and two snacks are provided each day at no extra cost. Families pack a lunch from home in a labeled lunchbox. Tell us about allergies before your child starts — we keep an allergy list posted and plan our snacks around it.
How will I know how my child’s day went?
Photos and updates come to you during the day — meals, naps, and what your child worked on. For infants, that includes feeding and diapering detail.
When are you closed?
We’re open year-round, closing only for major national holidays, Wednesday–Friday of Thanksgiving week, two weeks in winter, and two weeks in summer — with dates published in advance so you can plan.
How much is tuition?
Tuition depends on your child’s schedule (full-day, mornings, or afternoons) and is discussed when we talk — along with current openings. All meals are included at no extra cost.
Is there a waitlist?
Sometimes, for certain ages — we keep the group to twelve at most, with no more than four infants. Reach out and we’ll tell you honestly what’s open now and what’s opening soon.
